Whether you're mentoring new Salesforce admins or driving technical contributions, this path helps you create tangible impact for nonprofits and emerging talent.

  • Salesforce Admins, Consultants, or Analysts with 1+ year of experience
  • Guided Trail alumni ready to mentor
  • Professionals seeking to grow through mentoring, technical contribution, or structured volunteer service

  • Signed documentation for volunteer hour tracking
  • Support for corporate-sponsored giving and matching

What You Might Do

Time varies based on role:

  • Trail Guide (Mentor): 1–2 hours/week during internship cycles
  • Contributor: 2–5 hours/month (project-based)
  • Community Support: Flexible — event-driven or as available

Tools You Will Use

Interns work with real-world platforms including:
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Salesforce instance (including sandbox access)
  • Slack (mentor + team collaboration)
  • Canva for client presentations and documentation
  • Client Tools (Mailchimp, GiveLively, Donorbox, etc.)
  • Salesforce Digital Experience site (Transition Trails Partner Portal)

Requirements

  • Salesforce Admin Certification (ADM 201)
  • 1+ year of Salesforce experience
  • Consistent communication and professionalism
  • Passion for service and sharing your knowledge
