Our Story

Our Story

Building bridges between aspiration and opportunity, one trail at a time.

Who We Are

Transition Trails is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating accessible pathways into digital careers, with a focus on Salesforce ecosystem opportunities. We believe that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not.

Founded in 2020, we recognized a critical gap: aspiring Salesforce professionals needed real-world experience to land jobs, but couldn't get experience without having jobs. Meanwhile, nonprofits and small businesses needed Salesforce expertise but couldn't afford traditional consulting rates.

Our solution? Create a unique ecosystem where supervised learners work on real projects for mission-aligned organizations, gaining portfolio-worthy experience while delivering quality, affordable support. Everyone wins.

Today, we've helped career builders launch successful Salesforce careers while supporting nonprofits and small businesses in their missions.

Our Values

These principles guide everything we do, from designing programs to supporting our community.

Mission-Driven

We believe technology careers should be accessible to everyone, regardless of background or resources.

Community First

Learning happens best in community. We create spaces where mentorship, collaboration, and support thrive.

Hands-On Learning

Real projects, real impact, real experience. Theory matters, but practice transforms careers.

Opportunity & Equity

We actively work to remove barriers and create pathways for underserved communities in tech.

Meet Our Team

Passionate professionals dedicated to building pathways and empowering communities.

Angela Landrith

Co-Founder & CEO

(The Visionary)

Angela spent more than 20 years leading Salesforce transformations for top financial institutions. Her journey from self-taught SQL analyst to Senior Vice President and Salesforce product visionary taught her the value of self-education, mentorship, and creating pathways for others.

After mentoring Hugh Richardson—and many others who, like him, were new to Salesforce—Angela realized the need for a structured approach to workforce development. And Transition Trails was born.

Today, Angela leads Transition Trails full time, shaping strategy, mentoring interns, and championing inclusive career pathways.
